THEIR WARRANTY

VideoGameRepairs.ca is not affiliated with any OEM Game Manufacturers. All our repairs may involve the voiding of your console’s warranty. It is the consumer’s full responsibility to warn VideoGameRepairs.ca if a warranty sticker is not to be voided before repairs have started.

OUR WARRANTY AND PROMISE TO YOU

All products and services used in our repairs come with a 90 day warranty.  Reballed systems come with an additional 3 month warranty (i.e. a total of 6 months).  Original manufacturer warranties must be intact to be eligible for the additional 3 month extended warranty.  Videogamerepairs.ca retains to the right to deny the additional warranty if the original manufacturer's warranty has been removed or tampered with. If our warranty sticker on your console has been tampered with, your warranty will be voided and VideoGameRepairs.ca has no obligation to validate your warranty.  Our promise to you: If a console dies within the alotted warranty period and the warranty sticker has not been voided, we will repair your console for free.  In some instances, consoles cannot be repaired (think of it as an old car.... they only have so many miles on them before its junkyard time).  Consoles that are deemed irreparable within the alotted warranty period will receive a FULL refund for the work they have paid for.  Please note that Reballed work repairs like the Red light of Death and the Yellow Light of Death require a $20 bench fee due to the repeated time investment in your console.

UNASSUMED VIDEO GAME SYSTEMS

Videogamerepairs.ca wil not be held responsible for video game consoles that have not been picked up for more than 30 days. Customers that are planning to leave their system for more than 30 days must notify VideoGameRepairs.ca in advance.

BENCH FEES & ESTIMATES

Estimates will always be free of charge.  Estimates involve assessing your system for the source of the problem, and calculating a cost for you the customer.  No obligation for service is expected with our estimates.  A bench fee is charged for systems that require an extended period of time for assessment or service.  Bench fees apply mainly to `Hot Work`repairs (like those involved in repairing the Red Light of death and Yellow Light of death) This work is done blind and only after our time is invested in your console do we know if the repair was a success. Bench fees will always be mentioned to the customer before work begins.  If a system is accepted for `Hot work` repair and cannot be repaired, a $20 bench fee will apply to cover the parts and time spent attempting to repair that video game system. The owner then has the option to:

1.) Pickup their broken system and pay the $20 bench fee, or

2.) Leave the system for parts and the $20 fee will be waived
